Gwen Stefani is adding a new initial to her L.A.M.B. empire. The smokin’ songstress has hooked up with W Hotels to design uniforms for the posh chain’s female bar staff.
Ladies toiling away in the hotels’ Living Room lounges across the country will suit up in L.A.M.B.’s wash-and-wear black jersey minidresses—with diagonal stitch detailing and a fitted, ’80s-chic vibe—starting in December or early next year, per WWD.com.
And Gwen’s touch is instantly apparent: the black jersey dresses combine a fitted ’80s silhouette and asymmetrical styling with ’60s seam detailing and side vents. When creating the design, she knew it would have to not just look good, but be functional for active employees.
“I wanted to design a super cute dress that I would be excited to have in my own closet and approached it in the same way I think about my clothing for a tour,” she says.
