Pop- Star Britney Spears is back in the studio and at work on a "brand-new album," according to a joint statement released by the pop icon's manager and her label, Jive Records.
Her summer won’t be all rest and relaxation this year: The pop singer will be spending time hard at work on her yet-untitled next album.
“She’s working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters, and we’re very excited about what she’s accomplished so far. No album release date has been confirmed yet.” said her manager. She’s like, ‘I want to go to the studio because I want to have some fun’ and that’s what it’s all about. There’s no schedule, there’s no agenda, there’s no anything.' he added.
With the intention of resurrecting her career, Spears released Blackout last fall, which was ranked among Rolling Stone magazine's Top 50 albums of 2007.
